literature

Unlike Claudia, I am usually attracted to monochrome accessories, nearly every bag I own is black. However I am drawn to these Olympia Le-Tan bags and I am sure they will soon be everywhere. Maybe I will just carry an old book around and pretend its a clutch? Just an idea?

Pre Fall 3.1 Phillip Lim

Like the colour palette, camel is definitely still going strong and I like the muted pink, which is definitely more wearable than some of the SS11 shades. Knits over silk dresses is something I have been trying out recently and find really easy to wear. Lim's clothes are always very wearable and I am always drawn to them.

Clarity

Saw the Balenciaga AW10 shoes in Selfridges the other day and it reminded me how much I love them.

Some more jewellery from Bona Drag. I honestly think this is one of the best online stores for jewellery. The second necklace really reminds me of the gold pen Joan wears in MadMen.

In love

Abbey looks gorgeous here. It took a while for her white blonde hair to grow on me but now I think it looks stunning.
I am a little bit in love.

Who Cares?

I have been searching for a while now for an interesting charm bracelet and one that half the U.K's female population  don't have (i.e Links, Pandora).  Found this Alex Monroe bracelet and it arrived the other day. Feeling slightly smug with my find and the fact that the money I paid for the bracelet goes to donating a water purifier to the developing world. Now all I need to do when the shopping guilt appears is track my water purifier using the serial number on my bracelet and remind myself that I am a good person. Burberry pre fall 11

(Image via style.com)

I think Christopher Bailey is a bit of a genius, Burberry's coats are always impeccable and there is always more than one coat I lust over each season. This collection is no different. Love the use of fur trimming  (definitely going to buy that top with fur sleeves from pixiemarket now). Also for a brand that doesn't normally go down the evening wear route, Bailey has definitely delivered with the above dresses.

Great Heights

These are my favourites from Chrissie Morris' AW 10 collection.
They are perfectly sculpted and balanced. I think what I really love about them is how they fit into the clumpy heel category that I'm so fond of but they're so elegant at the same time.

Maybe if I wish hard enough they'll appear under the tree this year...

Well Hung

I can't quite explain why I love these pieces by Momocreatura so much. They are certainly unusual, but despite their macabre nature I think they're rather beautiful.

Available from Luna & Curious (which incidentally is one of my all time favourite shops in London)

Rip this joint

The Savoy just reopened and I went for dinner there last week. The hotel complete with butlers is the epitome of old school glamour.
Apologies for the lack of outfit posts, we will bring you some soon.
